Lillian Hardy

JUNIOR COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE

As a Junior Communications Associate, Lillian’s responsibilities include content creation, research, social media development and assisting on other projects. She is passionate about writing, social media and design. She hopes her internship at Kane will help her learn more about the world of public relations, produce networking opportunities, and assist her in her personal and professional growth.

Lillian is from Machesney Park, Ill., and moved to Wisconsin last fall. She is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee majoring in advertising and public relations and minoring in communications. Lillian is graduating in Fall 2023 and plans to pursue her master’s in advertising and public relations. She believes that a career in public relations will combine her passion for written and oral communication with her desire to work in a creative, fast-paced field.

At UWM, Lillian is a member of the Minority Media Association, a group that provides professional development for students of color. She is also a brand ambassador for the school and participates in marketing shoots and videos. To get her caffeine fix for all her classes and activities, she also works as a barista for the school’s coffee shop. This past summer, she worked as a Social Media Coordinator for UWM and hopes to put these skills to good use in her internship.

In her free time, Lillian enjoys reading and is currently in the middle of “It Ends with Us” by Colleen Hoover. She also plays tennis and does yoga to keep active, and likes to watch shows such as Downton Abbey and Gilmore Girls to relax.
