Milwaukee-based public relations and marketing firm doubles in size and expands offices

MILWAUKEE – (Sept. 17, 2019) – Kane Communications Group, a full-service integrated public relations and marketing firm located in downtown Milwaukee, announces multiple new hires and promotions, and an office expansion. Since moving to a new office in downtown Milwaukee in 2018, Kane has experienced rapid growth.

Team Growth and Promotions

In just the past year, Kane has more than doubled the size of its team, creating new positions and promoting team members along the way. Most recently, Kane added a director of strategic public relations and promoted key members of the team to new positions.

  • James Burnett, Director of Strategic Public Relations. James Burnett joins Kane Communications Group as the Director of Strategic Public Relations. James brings two decades of experience in media strategy, public relations and journalism to the team, including stints at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and Miami Herald. An award-winning journalist, including a shared Pulitzer Prize at the Boston Globe, James understands the importance of storytelling. At Kane, he looks forward to leveraging the opportunity to create great content, solve problems, research and think strategically alongside those at the firm. James is a graduate of Old Dominion University.

  • Sarah Fracek, Vice President, Strategy and Marketing. Sarah Fracek has been promoted to Vice President of Strategy and Marketing after previously serving Kane Communications Group as the Director of Marketing and Brand Strategy. Having been with the company for three years, Sarah is a valued asset on the team. In her new role, she will guide business strategy and engage clients in setting communications strategy. Sarah begins this role with 14 years of experience in marketing, brand and leadership. She looks forward to elevating the mission and vision of Kane Communications Group alongside her team.  Sarah is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.

  • Morgan Burns, Director, Marketing and Brand Strategy. Morgan Burns has been promoted to Director, Marketing and Brand Strategy. She joined the Kane team in March 2019. Morgan has more than 13 years of experience in marketing and brand strategy. She has helped build B2B and B2C brands by crafting stories and strategies that meaningfully connect companies with their audiences. Morgan works with clients to guide their growth through sound strategies and impactful brand messaging and creative. Morgan attended Cottey College and graduated from the University of Iowa.  

Kane will nearly double its footprint in the Two-Fifty building to meet the needs of the growing team and offer space for expanded services including a studio for producing original audio and video content. Kane’s new space will consist of nearly 8,000-square-feet on the building’s 12th floor. The expansion is expected to be complete by the end of 2019.
