Stephanie Smith
ACCOUNT MANAGER
As an account manager, Stephanie oversees several accounts, develops strategic marketing and communications plans and provides exceptional day-to-day service to her clients. She executes client projects in many disciplines - from advertising and marketing, to digital communications and social media, to public relations and crisis/issues management. Her curiosity to seek continued knowledge, empathy, ingenuity and teamwork fit alongside Kane’s values and culture.
Stephanie has a background in corporate communications, particularly within the healthcare realm after completing public relations roles and internships at Mayo Clinic Health System and a local dental practice. She also had experience working at The Walt Disney Company in Orlando where she utilized sales and marketing strategies to assist guests.
A proud University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire alumna, Stephanie received her bachelor’s degree in integrated strategic communications with an emphasis in advertising and minored in multi-media communications. While in school, she served on the executive board for PRSSA and was a copy editor for the university’s newspaper, The Spectator. She also spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy where she continued her education in graphic design, web design, event planning and communications.
In her free time, Stephanie enjoys exploring downtown Milwaukee, finding new delicious cuisines to try, checking out local shops and watching new shows on Netflix while cuddling with her cat, Mowgli. She loves water sports and sitting dockside at her family’s cottage on Sinissippi Lake, traveling and finding the next best romance novel or mystery to read.
